Cycling’s Andy Sparks with Sarah Hammer and Performance United

Olympic-level track cycling is among the fastest and most furious sports in the world. Andy Sparks is a dynamic, innovative young coach who is already achieving great things. This summer he was instrumental in helping Sarah Hammer win two Silver Medals at the London Olympics in the Team Pursuit and the Omnium. This follows Hammer’s world record in the individual pursuit, achieved in 2010.

Andy is a pioneer. He and his team are working with a diverse collection of top cyclists from lesser known countries including Ireland, Turkey, Mexico and Spain.

Together with Sarah, to whom he’s married, Andy established It’s been called the United Nations of Cycling. It’s based on the island of Mallorca off the coast of Barcelona, Spain. It benefits from a world-class velodrome, beautiful hilly roads and a mild climate much of the year. Performance United riders have already won over 25 World Cup Medals.









Andy is an impressive and passionate innovator and a man who looks likely to be making a big impact on the sport of track cycling for many years to come.
